The College of Science and Engineering consists of 56 faculty members from 4 disciplines including civil and construction engineering, industrial engineering and management, applied chemistry, environmental engineering and management. The college offers several degree programs: M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in biotechnology, M.S. and B.S. degrees in applied chemistry and environmental engineering and management, PH.D. degrees in construction engineering. M.S. and IEET-accredited (equivalent to ABET-accredited) B.S. in construction engineering and industrial engineering and management.

The college has over 227 graduate students and 1800 undergraduate students, and over NT$50 million per year in external funding. Faculty members work in multidisciplinary team focused on their research programs and publish 120 SCI level journal papers per year.
